Passion Pit
Passion Pit has taken off more quickly than founding member, writer, and lead singer Michael Angelakos could have anticipated. In 2007, Angelakos was playing one-man show in basements with only himself and a laptop, but by 2008, he found himself in the limelight when "Sleepyhead" started to circulate (off the band's EP, titled Chunk of Change). Since then, we've gotten two full-length studio albums, Manners and Gossamer, both of which contain those killer, catchy, feel-good tracks that we’ve come to expect and enjoy for Passion Pit (the name, apparently, comes from a slang term for drive-in theaters). Their latest album, Gossamer, was released this summer, has some of your favorite tracks on it, like "Take a Walk" and "Constant Conversations."
