Could Muse be the biggest band in the world? Millions of albums sold…yes. Sold Out shows in front of millions…done. Songs with horses and lasers…you bet.  Recognized as one of (if not THE) best live band on the globe (ask U2, they’ll admit it) we couldn’t be more honored to have them headline this year’s Deck The Hall Ball.   Grab your ticket, get to the WAMU Theatre on December 15th and prepare yourself for sensory overload.

It’s become pretty apparent that 30 Seconds to Mars isn’t just releasing a record in December, they are creating a worldwide event.  This includes contributions from musicians and fans from across the globe,  2000 separate album covers,  and creating a bigger demand for guyliner than the H1N1 vaccine. Learn the true meaning of EPIC when they take the stage at this years Deck The Hall Ball

Last December, we started to play a small unknown song that had just been released from one of our favorite Canadian bands.  It was supposed to be on their forthcoming record (still months away) and was  released early to coincide with a Canadian tour they were doing at the time. In the last year Help!, I’m Alive has become one of biggest songs of 2009 and after multiple End Sessions, killer Bumbershoot and Showbox shows, we couldn’t be happier to close out the year with Metric at Deck The Hall Ball.

Pheonix

Phoenix is a French band named after an Arizona city.  However, don’t expect them to be wimps or wear black and white striped shirts with beret’s. Expect them to be awesome.  Amazon.com has already called their record “Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix” the 3rd best record of 2009 and it’s NOVEMBER.  So even if you don’t like their set at Deck, say that you did, you’ll sound cooler.

Vampire Weekend

How did we get Vampire Weekend to play Deck The Hall Ball?  Well their second record is out in January and it’s called “Contra”…so it was easy.  Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start
